Default Smart Security System - Setting PIN

I own a 2014 XL1200C. I have the odometer with a digital HD combo (miles/KM). After being stuck with a working FOB one time and had my wife reduce me, I have now tried to set PIN unsuccessfully. I cannot get to the PIN setting modes.

I have tried the followings:

1) press off/run to run, tap left turn signal switch until pin present. Didn't do anything

2) turn With an assigned fob present, turn IGN key IGNITION-OFF-IGNITION-OFF-IGNITION. Press left turn signal switch 3 times. Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release. Didn't do anything.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

goto 1:20 if u want get right to it --- some dealers set their own code --- some dealers dont even touch the factory code - this will have to be figured out if the factory code does not work..
