when I installed the brake/run light pigtail under the seat (plug into wiring harness then into rear lights), when running, the lights appear brighter as if the brakes were on, then when I applied the brakes, the lights activated but the brightness was very little. was difficult it telling the difference between running lights and brake lights. one time a bubby of mine thought I was riding the brakes. it was the one from Harley where you plug the pigtail in and add the red lens covers to the turn signals. didn't require changing bulbs. this was on an 09, not sure what differences there maybe on the newer bikes

You have to narrow things down, I would start with volt meter & check the brake light wire on the input side of the module, see if there is power when the brake is applied, that will tell you if the module is getting power from the bike on that wire.

first do what hotlap says above check with a meter be sure everything is working fine and has power

what i would do is eliminate the module and test the brakes without it
and see if it all works

if your switch was stuck your brake lights would stay on
your saying you have no brake light or change in brightness

what's the part number for that auxiliary kit you installed? I dont see one that's compatible with your bike. Remove it and check again, it will work.
