Vss sensor issue

two issues, vss & battery
Ok so after searching on the forums i came to a conclusion that the speedo dying is the vss sensor.
I tried cleaning it and clearing the code but that did nothing.
The issue im having is i cant find the vss connector, i tried tracing the wire but i keep loosing it because theres no room to maneuver... i was wondering if anybody had pics of the location of the connector for the vss?
Im on a 883 iron 2011 but im sure that its the same on all late model sportys.

Anybody? Even pointing me to it would help.
Another thing, my battery usually reads about 12.45
after 12 hours of sitting there without an ignition it drops to 12.25. Then keeps dropping by 0.05 every 12 hours.
Is this normal? Im going away for a week soon and want to know if i can leave the bike like this without worrying that it doesnt start when i get back.
