what are the symptoms of having oil over filled other than blow by stuff? Mine is way above the line when cold, had an indie shop do the last oil change. No blow by, just wondering if its messing up something else. [:'(]

Got mine back from the stealer after its 5k service yesterday and decided to check the oil when I got home. It's not even showing on the dip stick! So this morning I'm off to buy a quart of Syn3 to bring it to the half-way mark between add and full.
I've heard of people having the oil tank rupture when it is filled over the half-way mark. That REALLY would not make me happy! Anybody have this happen to them?
