A lot depends on what you want them for, they look very cool but unless your a very mellow sunny day occasional rider I don't think they are very practical.
The tread designs look like they would be a nightmare over angled train tracks & tar snakes and as far as modern knowledge of water evacuation from the tread these are not good plus the whole profile is not good for sharp cornering.
Dont have the Firestones, a guy thats no longer here, BMXatv had them. He said they stick like glue and are very confidence inspiring. Same experience I have with my Coker/Becks. And unlike many that have never had them say, they are not just for weekend, bar hop, straight line, fair weather riding.
They do have one MAJOR drawback though. Youll be lucky to get 3-4K miles out of the rear
I just got a set of Coker/Becks going to put them on this week, as soon as the guests I have in town leave. Pretty excited about them just hope they don't rub.
I run them on my rigid framed non-sportster. They really absorb bumps well and turn well, but not great. I have found running them a 2 pounds lower in front works well, and running them well below max pressure is advised. Never ran them in the rain so no idea about that.
