I REALLY need some help.
That's OK. The stuff inside probably can't be fixed by us mortals anyway.
Looking at the schematic, it looks like the tag light and tail light are the same circuit. You may be screwed.
Before buying new ($$$), look at aftermarket lamps from Custom Dynamics and other companies.

LEDs do go bad sometimes, not often, but I have seen it happen.. I have a panel of about 100+ LEDs used for indicators for a power board here at work that I installed in 1999 that burns 24/7 and not a one has burned out in all that time..I bought another set for another board (different design and company) and they were all burned out within a couple years, I think it was a bad lot of LEDs. I think the biggest issue with LEDs is in the manufacturing and not the design...
