Hey j.e., check the dimensions of the stock bars (should be 56082-83T in the Harley catalogue/website, for the 1200c), and compare them to these new ones. That'll give you a good idea how different they will be. I think the new ones will be wider, end-to-end, by several inches (1200c bars are pretty narrow), and a little lower. How about just using the stock risers?
Harley Davidson Drag Bars. 1 1/4" fat bars. 6" rise to bottom of cross bar. Rise has 2" centerline to centerline pullback on the riser. 5" pullback on the crossbar. These bars are drilled for internal wiring and have the notch for stock hand controls. Brand new, never been installed. Only selling them because I bought 6 and 8 inch rise bars and went with the 8's. Will work on any modern Harley with a 3.5" riser spacing, to include Dynas, Sportsters, and Softails.
Talk to Saltlick, he had something similar purchased but it hits the gas tank, the risers bend right in the middle, I wouldn't say it will hit but it might, just be careful. READ THIS THREAD
