Hi,
My Sportster XL883L, 2011 is having some engine stalling issues. My dealer currently tells me that it is a problem with my TSSM that needs to be replaced. He is asking me to replace the whole Kit but as far as I understand it should be no problem to only replace the 68924-07 TSSM and program my current FOB to it. Is that correct?
Can someone please explain the process so I know what to say to my local dealer?
Basically I want to order the 68924-07 part online and get back to him with it and ask him to replace it and re-program my module with my fob.
You can do it yourself from what I have read on here. It's one plug and snaps in place. Here's mine (white plug) ..does not have alarm siren which is that lower plug hanging where the siren clips in. Not sure where yours is but should not be very hard to find.
