Default 72 bobber

I've posted this in several picture threads, but it's time for its own thread. Hopefully this will give people the ***** to Bob that rear fender.

Sick, I love the look of the 72, it reminds me of the frame mounts which I love. Only thing I would do to complete the look is pull the front fender off.

I freaking love that look on the '72. I'm not hot on the brown seat, but everything else is gorgeous to me - to each their own.

I like that, like the tank lift and wire tuck too. How much of a lift did you do? I plan on having mine done in the future but I want to put on a springer front end.

I think I made the brackets 1 5/8" from center to center on the bolt holes. I'm also looking to to a springer front end sometime in the near future.

Did you mean the frame struts? Yes. It wasn't hard at all to do. I didn't even have to drill any new mounting holes either.

Springer 72 would be awesome.

Ran into a website called Spitfire Motorcycles earlier today while looking at brass breather bolts and they seem to sell a springer front end with any length.

Any problems with fuel levels, since they have such a small tank and its raised higher are you losing out on the miles you get out of a tank. I've seen where the fuel petcock valve has been moved further back on the tank?
