I liked the way those Zeds look but I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of those Keystones today instead. I wasn't sure how I would like that narrow of bars. I hope to get em put on over thanksgiving and post pics. Thanks for the help guys.

I put the regular harley mini apes on my 48 - the only thing that needed changing was the brake cable. I then wanted them a little higher so I added the Loner Industries 2" risers and no cable changes were needed. I really love the HD mini apes on my 48 much better than the original bars.

I liked the way the mini apes look on the 48s and that's one of the few Harley branded items that isn't priced to completely break you. Stopped by my local dealer to acquire about different bars and I learned quickly if I wanted to keep it some what keep I needed to do 2 things. 1) not let the dealership install em ($1200 install cost for a bar that cost less then $100) and 2) get something a little lower since the dealer didn't have a single bike in the lot that had the mini apes and there main warning was that need for Extensions for ALL the cables.

Those keystones main selling point to me were the fact I would install them myself with out having to extend any wires right off the bat.
