I've got OEM replacement MS with black lower tint for my dyna and will put something similar on the sportster build. I don't know if my wife will want color tint or clear. I was thinking the gradient ruby--I don't know maybe overboard with the red. Memphis Sades has superior plastic compared to HD in my opinion.
Looks good on your 48. Are those the bars that come with the 48. If not can you tell me what they are and how wide? We may want wider bars on the 883.
Thanks
fskitch its no problem reposting my pics.Nice bikes you got there.
The bars are emgo superwide beachbars i bought on ebay from niche motors for $98. 36 inches. Bike handels well with wide bars. i get ot of leverage on the bars.they come dimpled but i drilled them to run wires internally.

Really like the 16 balloon tire up front. I've got a softail deluxe rim going up front so I (She) can run the beefy tire as well.

Wow that is an extremely tall windshield. Proper height should be top edge horizontally level with the tip of your nose ,or just slightly below eye level. You must be very tall which would make the bike too small for you or the windshield is improperly sized. You should be looking over the windshield and not through it for safety reasons. Perhaps the reason it was free...lol.

My opinion is quite different. You may want to compare Lucite vs polycarbonate, Memphis Shades vs HD, respectively. I agree Memphis Shades makes a great product, but strength comparison between the materials is something else.
That's cool....it's a personal preference. All mods we do to our sportys are to make it our own. Just wanted to bring attention to what suppliers provide with respect to proper sizing in the event OP was not aware. The wndshield is very nice, but the height is the first thing that caught me eye...just an obervation. No offense intended.
In fact, I am currently playing with my fairing windshield height (5", 6" flared, 8" flared, and now 9 1/2" flared) to properly deflect wind to go over my helmet while still making sure I can still see over it.

Oh I hear ya-I think the ops WS looks a little tall-free and he can trim, great deal.
Mine is the 19" and I'm 6'. when sitting relaxed I'm looking through mine but on a real foggy morning I find myself sitting more upright than normal so I can see over it. The police style Barn door looks cool on the retro style builds IMO.
