Check your motor mounts! The front mount can come loose and cause stuff to rattle and break. The front bolt/ nut can come loose. Put some locktite on it and tighten to spec.
Mine broke as well. Right across the top of the hole where it secures to the rear axle. I assume from hitting a major pothole or something. I bought one on ebay for like.... $25 total. Not perfect brand new, but looks fine. It's also behind all my bags now so you can't even see it.
