Default Removing tank emblems

I'm thinking of removing my tank emblems. Any ideas on how to do that without messing up the paint?

I've heard of guys using fishing line to take them off. I'd think warming with a hair drier would help

Yep ... Simple and quick. Dental floss/fishing line ... Patience ... A little warmth from a hari dryer will help soften the adhesive ... Then some WD-40 or Goo Gone to loosen and remove the left over adhesive.

Same - Fishing line and I have 3M decal and emblem remover.
I often use my heat gun, but I'm not going to be the one who recommends that on a fuel tank, unless it's been drained and filled with nitrogen.
