We had a Pagan MC cell that headquartered across the street in my neighborhood. Of course we dreamed of being in that club. So we had our bicycle MC clubs and the Row House gang rode against the Apartment gang all the time.

You already have one of the best looking bikes in the 48.
Few tweaks and you will be away
there is nothing 'special' on this bike really
remove the front fender
chop the rear struts and add some led stop/turns on the rear
find some matching front turn signals
remove belt guard
spring seat
tank lift/wire tuck *yawn*
V&H shortshots and air cleaner
chin guard
speedo relocate
and could be stock bars turned
there is nothign special about the bike.
It looks ok and if that's what you want then go for it

My .02 is worth what you pay for it, but I would think about doing things that don't need any serious frame mods first, and then going from there.
Doing a tank lift you'll want to lift both front and back, otherwise, that already small tank gets even smaller.
There are a lot of videos about doing the wire tuck and coil relocate. People also move their ignition key to clean up the area under the tank. Done right it looks really good. Spring solo saddles are ok, check ebay, lots of take offs and slightly used ones.
Wait until you ride it to decide how high or low you want to go with your bars. Drag bars with risers or t-bars are good. There are other bars out there, like z bars as well.
Like I said earlier, youtube like crazy until you are sure of what you want to do.
