Issues on '07 FI models?
Anybody had any probs with their '07's?
My dad bought his first HD since 1957 and in the first 50 miles had issues. The shop found a leaky intake gasket and a bad ECM.
Anybody else seeing problems with HD's first run of the FI Sportsters?

Yeah. When the check engine light cycles through, it comes back on again 3 seconds after it extinguishes, and remains on for 7 seconds, then it extinguishes again. Every time. Dealer said to bring it in next time I'm around his area....

What exactly does FI mean?
I bought my XL883 on the 1st and Allready have 950 miles on it...with no problems. Hopefully they won't find anything when I take it in for the 1000 mile scheduled maintenance.

Oh, too answer the question......only problem so far is a rear flat tire about 1 week after I bought it. That sucked!

lets see, where do i start? Hmmmm............. I bought the bike at the end of Jan.07, 2 weeks later oil leak. 3 weeks later, key won't fit in the ignition. 1 week later, loose clutch lever. Now I have the bike for almost a month, what happens? Speedometer reads 40mph standing still.Ok, enough is enough.................... right? W R O N G Now as of yesterday, no power at all, nothing, nada, zero, I mean DOA! Oh well, I guess it could be worse, I could be riding a Yamaha!
