Mirror vibration

Mirror vibration
I really thought I had bought my last bike at the tender age of 72. Really enjoy my stock 2001 1200S. It vibrates far less than my old Nortons, BSAs and Triumphs but the loss of being able to use the mirrors is unacceptable to me. Is there anything I can do to improve the mirror rear visibility short of selling this bike and buying a rubber mount?

A number of people here have used Vibranators with good results from what I have read. I have the same issue with my mirrors, but only at certain speeds.

Went from a Sportster to a Super Glide. The vibration was so bad that I not only couldn't use the mirrors, I damn near couldn't even see the mirrors. It was just a big, silvery, blur at the ends of the handlebars.
Now that I have a Touring bike, the mirrors are so clear I can read a license plate behind me. Of course, it's backwards, but still...
If the blurry mirror is a problem for you, you have two choices: either a Touring model or a Softail.
