Just picked up a used detatchable windshield for the N.....
Anyone out there who has installed one of these on the 07's, Did you have to re-locate both the clutch and throttle cables? It looks like the clutch cable is fine where it's at. I have a semi-readable faxed copy on the install (its bad enough they're HD instructions) so maybe someone out there can help a brother out.....
The throttle cables go between the two clamps on th right and the clutch cable just lays aganist the bracket left. Big difference. I like mine for longer rides. Took alittle bit to get used to..
When I had a 2005 Sporty 1200 custom HD charged me 35.00 to install my clip on detachablewindshield because they said they MIGHT have to reroute the throttle cables. They didn't have to reroute anything except my attitudebut banged me for 35.00 anywayon top of 335 plus tax for the shield. Now I'm giving it away in NEW condition for a little over 200 bucks. Go figure.

Sorry to hear that...another case of the Stealer taking the dough! It sounds like most members are just attaching it on without relocating the cables. I'll do the same, thanks for the tips (you to sporty pig).
