Here's my 48. I swapped the original 2.2 peanut white with gold undertone tank out for a 3.3 Tank. I bought this tank primed from my HD dealer and had a painter paint it with left over pearl paint from a softail. I put the emblem on it. I think it came out pretty good:
I really loved the extra mileage. But since I do a lot of country/rural riding I decided to go to a 4.5 gallon tank which I won on ebay:
I really love the larger 4.5 gallon tank. Its just a nice peace of mind not having to worry about a gas station.
