Here's my 48. I swapped the original 2.2 peanut white with gold undertone tank out for a 3.3 Tank. I bought this tank primed from my HD dealer and had a painter paint it with left over pearl paint from a softail. I put the emblem on it. I think it came out pretty good:

I really loved the extra mileage. But since I do a lot of country/rural riding I decided to go to a 4.5 gallon tank which I won on ebay:

I really love the larger 4.5 gallon tank. Its just a nice peace of mind not having to worry about a gas station.

I got a tank off a 2009 Iron and had a friend repaint it. I'm way happier with the range I have now.

Happy New Years folks!

I have a brief question and instead of starting a whole new thread, I can ask it here;

If I was to replace my stock tank on my 2017 48 with either the OEM 3.3 or 4.5, would I have to relocate my turn signals?

No, you wouldn't. I relocated mine because I had a windshield from another sporty and I needed to relocate them to fit the different windshield.
