My neighbor is building a bike, he showed me a Motogadget M Unit (?) that supposedly controls all the electrics. Not sure how the handlebar switch stuff works, did not see those parts. Looks like a cool idea, but pricey. Perhaps only one or two wires to the bars each side?

Friend of mine here in the UK used one of those to rewire his Evo Glide a few years ago. He's very happy with it. They are a German company and do some pretty hi-tech stuff.
Ive got a set of the bar end indicators from them. The detail and workmanship that can go into something so simple is impressive. Definitely top quality parts. I hadnt seen that speedo/clamp before, love how slick that is. If i were to do things again...
