No. Pretty normal to get some scuffs like that. The teeth side is what really matters. I had 60k+ miles on a belt that looked like that.

Looks alright to me. I've got 70K+. If you're really concerned, carry a spare belt and the tools you need to swap it on the side of the road. It's a lot easier to swap belts on a Sport than it is on a Big Twin.

...Edit; after looking at it again, that belt is ****ing fine dude, keep ripping.

First priority is to find what has caused that and rectify it! I had stone damage on a belt many years ago and kept riding, but also checked regularly. Quite different damage to yours, but eventually mine began to spread, so I replaced it then. If you are about to set off on a long tour it might be a good idea to replace it, but if your trips are mostly shorter ones, ride on!

If you take long road trips it may be worth replacing and keeping that one as a spare. A lot of dealers don't stock belts and if one breaks on the road you could get stuck.

And I agree on looking for a cause

EDIT: My bad, when I read this last night I had a couple too many.

Didn't even notice the big *** cut on the side of the belt. Yeah, I'd swap that out and find out what cause it. Goofed on my last post, I wouldn't ride on that for more than a week or so.
