Sportster fuel level sensor install problem
Hello guys, my friend got a 2016 iron 883 and he install fuel level sensor(61200008A) by himself but after the installation he's bike always show the fuel light and it's didn't show the fuel level what going wrong, any answer?
BTW he change the digital speedometer(70900100C) already.

Im dealing with the exact same issue. I picked up the parts from the dealership, had my preferred local shop do the install and everything works except the fuel sensor. Its even showing the low fuel light on with a full tank. My shop believed the speedometer was defective because it never did give the option to select the fuel tank isize in the setup menu.
So, I took it to the dealership and after running through the menu a few times to no avail, they will be installing a new speedometer on Friday. If that fixes the problem, then I get to figure out how to pursue getting Harley to pay for the work the dealership did, which wouldnt have been necessary if the part was good to begin with.

I dont know what going wrong

Sounds exactly like the problem I had. The fuel sensor was fine, but the speedometer never did prompt to select the fuel tank size. As soon as they connected the replacement speedometer, it prompted to select the tank size and everything worked as expected.
