Well I picked up a couple of Champion PowerSport 8809 plugs and a couple Bosch Platinum 2 4304 plugs to try in my 2001 Sporty. (Im a plug geek)
The Champions I cross referenced from a catalogue at the store, but there was no cross reference for the Bosch plugs. The length and thread count is right. They are twin ground electrode plugs, do you think they are okay to try?
Has anyone tried these plugs? Im not looking for performance gains etc.. just trying different plugs. Let me know your thoughts.[/align]
I can't see spending more money for the latest 'whiz-bang' super duper plugs if it isn't necessary.
Champion makes the plugs for HD, and I just use the normal HD 6R12's or the Champion RA8HC (810's)..
Run them year around, in all kind of conditions, and I've never had a problem or felt that I needed anything else.
I'll second that. RA8HC's, bike starts every time on the first revolution and never skips a beat. All for the botique price of $2.50.
No whiz bang here, I'd rather burn the change on something thats worthwhile......Like Beer
