Have a 2014 XL1200C and have had a strange situation with my instrument lights. I washed my bike and dryed it, then went for a ride in the country. About 40 minutes into the ride the electrical system (security) light came on and the high beam light came on. The lights continued to function, although I could not make the switch function between high beam and low beam. Pulled into a wayside and let the bike sit for 15 minutes and it went away, only to reappear about 15 minutes of riding later.
has anyone seen this before? Don't know if the switch is bad or if it is a computer error...
Just ran diagnostics with the following results, BCM=yes, codes B2132 and B2137. Have no idea what these mean.

Reason: Diagnostic information
I think this leaves me in the same place I was at. The strange thing is that the light works when cool, it switches from High Beam to Low Beam just fine, but after an indeterminate amount of riding it goes haywire and stays on High Beam and the switch does not function.
A short circuit i understand, but there is no burn marks or associated smell, and the light still functions which makes no sense. I did install a knockoff LED headlight last fall so maybe that is ultimately the problem, but generally a short means heat, smoke and burning smell.
