anyone running them? i bought a basket case 2011 1200 custom for $300. has screamin beagle pipes. maybe 20-30% louder than stock. want something a little throatier. im not interested in performance, never have been, so i dont need a stage 1 or anything. rush seems to be a decent pipe and it doesnt break the bank. thoughts?
I had the 3 rush with the 1 3/4 baffle and found this gem a little too hard on the ears so I stepped down to their 1 1/2 baffle which did make a little difference but the wife didnt like them.
I wish rush made a 1 option for their 3 slip ons or a quiet baffle / DB killer as not everyone wants to go deaf at 50.
I have the Rush 3" baloney cut with the 1 3/4 baffles and love them. I had been running the cobra 3" with the RPT tips and though they were deep and bassy, they were too loud. I love the Rush slip ons. They're just right. Deep but not too loud.
I second what Sporty said, Rush slipons have a deep rumble to them, louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud. I have the same setup, 1.75" baffles with baloney cut. If for some reason I had to replace them, I would buy them again.

I've got a pair of black ones, 3" bologna cut, 2" baffles.
This is not my baffle - just an Internet pic for reference. I "modded" my Screamin' Eagle baffles as described. Works great! And very low cost! I had a Harbor Freight drill set so that's why I went up to 21/64". I did a few smaller sizes and slowly went up, testing in between, and this was the where I stopped. I'm quite happy with the results. My wife's 48 has Rush slip-ons, and it is just a bit louder.
