Default riser issue

So, I ran into an issue with the FMW handle bar I'm running. It's pretty narrow in the clamp area, so running two separate risers with my Motogadget Tiny in the middle, seems to have presented a safety issue:

Anyone have a solution to this? These risers are 1" wide, maybe with a narrower riser? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the ideas man. I'm looking at having a fabricator make me a set of custom risers if i can't manipulate what I have here. I actually didn't change anything since the last pic, I just noticed that the clamps were unacceptably crooked. I've got some time tomorrow in the AM to work on them and also try and replace my front motormounts.

Honestly, I'm thinking of holding off on all of this and starting the prep work to hard tail this bike. I know some folks hate the idea of it, but it's what I want and am after. Might start a new thread once I jump into that territory.

Kind of looks to me like the "flat" of the handlebars wasn't made wide enough for a Harley, but what do I know...
You might contact the handlebar mfg and see if theres a recommended "offset" clamp or somesuch.
(or get a different set of handlebars)

good luck & let us know the outcome,

T.

That's what I was thinking as well but didn't want to speak without knowing. Glad someone else thought the same.
