This has probably been beat to death, but I’m kinda new to these forums. Looking to put some mini apes on my 2005 1200 xlc. I like the stock bars just want something that’s about 4-6 inches higher than stock. What brand is worth buying as far as the chrome lasting and not rusting or pitting. Also being that I like everything about the stock bars, width etc, what would y’all suggest. I do know that I’ll have to also extend the cables, etc, what would be the go to brand for those as well, thanks in advance.

Look at Khrome Werks bars, very nice and affordable

Personally, I would go for stainless steel bars.
