Default Sporty project!
Working on a 2009 1200 low. Making s bobber out of this one.

I got some LA chopper 10” reverse T bars and a 1200 iron headlight visor

lowbrow customs 39mm raw steel fork shrouds

cut about 4” off the rear fender and sprayed it with Harley vivid black

repaired a dented 3 gallon Harley tank and sprayed it ford blue.

And I’m putting a 19” nightster wheel on the front.

only spent $300 on the bike. Bought new black heads with only 8 miles on them and brand new 48 rear shocks for $250.

i got a few other things here and there, all together I’m $1300 into the bike. Figure I can sell for $3000-3200.

Looks good so far. I am also in the process of redoing a 2009 but it's a custom that was damaged on both sides...

Nice score! I'd paint the tank rear fender and headlight fairing the same color, blue or black. And leave the front fender off.

Yeah...I think it's the grey fender makes the blue not work.

Reckon you slap some black HD logo on that tank it'll look fresh.

fork shrouds installed. Tank is bare metal now, didn’t like the blue.

Stripped the blue off the tank. Hated it. I’m going with a silver flake on the tank now. Loving the stance of this bike!

I'm a fan of burnt orange......If I were to repaint my 883 that's what I would use.

Finally finished up the tank today. I did a spray paint job, after all it la a budget build.

Color is metallic silver flake.
