Default Recommendations Please - Rear Turn Signal Relocation for Detachable Sissy Bar Install

Good day from Sydney, Australia.

Recommendations please.

Planning on getting a single detachable sissy bar from HD. However the rear docking kit will be covering my current Rizoma turn signals. I can’t relocate it to the plate holder as it’s not stock. Can I punch a hole in the rear fender and relocate it there instead? Or is there a kit that I can get to have it sit where the swingarm meets the shock? Or anywhere else that I can relocate it? I don't have the gear to do the work myself as I live in an apartment complex, so most likely would bring it to a shop to have it done. Just wanted to see what everyone's been doing.

Thank you.

From what I can see in the picture, I'm assuming you are not running the stock tail light?

Otherwise I would suggest a Moons integrated brake and turn signal kit, just finished installing mine and found it very easy and great looking.

They’re Rizomas. Quite pricey too so I’m loathe to get rid of them.

They make a relocation kit that moves them to a round bar held on with the stock license plate bracket, but I see you have a laydown, not sure if it will work, I run an integrated Brake, Tail, License and Turn signal. Just the sissy bar, you should be able to leave those where they are, the side plates clear the signals IIRC.

The Detachable sissy bar side plate should mount at those two silver bolts on the fender and have a cut out section for the turn signal. You shouldn't have to relocate the turn signals unless you are mounting saddlebags.

I just went to look at my detachable sissy bar and racing back to point out the cutouts for the indicators...

So the question is how far do your fancy little indicators stick out? Maybe at worst you might need to get a tube to make a small extension.

Not hard to make a DIY relocation setup, this is just tubing and clamps I picked up at the local hardware store plus some aftermarket turn signals I had on hand. The fender already had a hole IIRC and I just drilled one in the license bracket and tube to line up with it.
