Hi, I have a 2019 883, and am expecting to receive the Screamin Eagle Street Tuner today that I ordered.
Right now, I have a set of SE Street Cannons that I put on about 50 miles ago, and am thinking of going back to the stock exhaust.
Has anyone used the tuner with stock exhaust, and seen any benefits? It seems like it would still help over the base ECU setup, just looking to see if anyone has experience with this setup.
Oh, and I will more than likely have the cannons for sale soon, in case anyone is interested before I post for sale.
I have the older SEST which the MoCo had to quit selling under threat from the EPA. Before you unbox your new tuner, and certainly before you marry it to your 883, you might wish to check a few things out regarding the MoCo's modern tuners and aftermarket brands.
Maybe its all good, I dunno of course, but I'd check if I were you. Specifically, I'd want to know if AF adjustment is restricted in the new SET.

I'm not sure about a stock setup, I've yet to receive the tuner. Should show up this morning.
Air filter is stock. I've read of people doing that with no issue with the pipes/tuner. In fact, the air filter that comes on the 883 is the same setup as the 1200 (I looked through the HD parts microfiche), and that bike has 20 hp/tq more than the 883, so it should be fine flow-wise anyways.
I guess the advantage of the SE tuner is that it could dial in the stock pipes even more?

Yeah, I did some homework. If you use the SE tuner (new version, only one available), it keeps the warranty intact. Only reason I ordered it.
