Hmmm, my first was back in about 1980 and I had a '76 Yamaha 360. Only had that for 2 seasons.

Rollforward 25+ years to April, 2007 when I got my Harley 883 Custom (which now has 5,000 miles!)

Love it! Love it! Love it!

Default RE: Your evolution as a biker

hmmmm,let's see

1977 had a Honda TL 125 (trials bike)
1980 - Suzuki X1 50cc (my first bike on the road as a learner)
1982 - Suzuki DR 125 Trail Bike

Long lay off as i'd just done my car driving test

1994 after going on the back of a friends Kawasaki GPZ 750,it was time to do my bike test.

1994 passed test and bought a Kawasaki GPZ 600R
1995 bought a Suzuki GSX-R 750 (it got stolen from my garage)
1995 bought another GSX-R 750
1998 retired from riding, having kids brought me to my senses riding sportbikes about like a looney had to stop.

2007 Suddenly decided i wanted a Harley and bought a 1994 Sportster and i love it and double bonus i'm now taking my kids about everywhere on the back
