Default Your evolution as a biker

I'm curious as to what history you guys have in terms of what bikes you've owned. What bikes did you learn on etc etc. Here's my evolution from newbie to somewhat not a newbie

1. 1984 Honda XR80..I got this thing used when i was 12 years old. Rode it for fun up until my junior year in high school. That is til my friend Justin decided to take it to on our President's Day Glamis trip never to return(the bike that is).

2. 1996 Honda CBR 600...I wanted to get back into riding so i bought this bike used in 2000 at the age of 24. Learned the basics of street bikes on it. Put 37,000 miles on her up until i sold her to a friend.

3. 2002 Suzuki SV650...Bought it right after i sold the CBR. Great bike, lots of fun..sucked in the canyons though. Sold it to my neighbor who then proceeded to high side it less than four months later.

4. 2003 Aprilia RS250. Bought it used....this two stroke bike was the funnest bike i've ever owned(apart from my new HD). Wasn't street legal and i work too much to go to Willow more than once every few months. Regrettably, sold it via ebay.

5. 2007 Harley Davidson Nightster in Olive/Black....i've only put 140 miles on her because of my work schedule(in a hotel room in vegas for work as i type this). So far i love this bike. I've never ridden anything like it. Can't wait until the break in period is done.

Guess I'm out of the ordinary, as I don't have experience with metric bikes.

First bike I owned was a new 1972 1200FX SuperGlide, and since then I've owned nothing but Harley's.

Oh Well.....
