883 hot pipes?
Hi everyone, got a question about headers on a 883. I read there is a heat proof paint for the "inside" of the pipes, to help dissipate the heat, so the chrome does not
get discolored bad. It might be ceramic based. Any idea if it works-or is it BS? Any info. appreciated.

Personally never heard anyone painting the inside of pipes, but baked on ceramic on the outside is something many swear by for keeping the heat inside the pipe and not transferring it.

Jet Hot has been doing both the inside/outside for as long as they've been in business.
Might read the FAQ (there's even videos) and get a quote for just doing the inside of your headers.
