Has any of you tried this battery? It would be for my 2018 Sportster. 2 year old stock battery on trickle charge, wont hardly turn over without 2 second delay.

I haven't tried that battery but about 6 months ago I replaced my battery and after some research I got a maintenance free one from Walmart.com for around $40. It's been doing real good. I keep it plugged in when it isn't being ridden. But that's not more than a day or two! I got the battery in 2 days and I am pleased with the performance. I've learned that the brand isn't as important as the price and you can count on getting a new one every two years no matter what the brand, Good luck!
I've never had good luck with aftermarket batteries in Harley's. Lucky to get a year out of them. Now I just go to the dealer and pay a little extra but I get at lest 3 years out of them.
My son bought a Dyna back in November. Previous owner put a new battery in it before he sold it, some aftermarket thing with the spacers in it. Last Saturday I took his bike for a ride (he's in the Army) and the battery died on my during the ride, left me stranded had to call my other son to come with the trailer.
You spend $117 on that battery and get a year out of it or spend $135 on a battery at the dealer and get three years out of it. Which is a better buy?
I got my Shorai Lithium for $180 bucks, going on 5 years and never used a tender. I expect it to last much longer. This seems like the best deal to me.
Plus I saved my oil tank battery mount by taking 12 pounds of lead away. I have not touched it since I installed it.

That's impressive. I haven't tried a lithium battery yet.

There has to be environmental conditions surrounding this. The OEM battery in my bike has been through 3 winters albeit not very severe. It will soon be into its 4 summer but again not the elevated temperatures seen in America.
The cheap battery in my partner's bike wouldn't start the engine on the coldest of days and needed some assistance. Once the engine has been run though the battery has no problem restarting the engine any time throughout the day.

I've never heard of it but that doesnt mean anything. I just put a Duracell Energizer battery ($99) in mine that I got from Amazon and it works great. The first one came with a smashed + terminal but they immediately sent me another one out letting me keep the damaged one.
Another thing about Sportys that I love is once you turn the key off, theres no battery draw so you dont have to keep checking the charge like any of the big twins. Granted you dont want to go all winter without throwing a quick charge on it but it's very forgiving. anyway, the point I'm making is whatever you put in the bike and it's always subjective which battery you go with just make sure its completely sealed. I still see bike batteries available that aren't sealed.
My original HD battery was over 4 years old when I replaced it
My second Harley battery is 3 1/2 years old and has not shown any sign of being weak yet.
I do either connect it to my Tender after riding or charge it at least once a month during the riding season.

Not all Sportsters are born equal. My 2017 not only has an alarm that draws current signified by the flashing red led in the speedo but as it is also keyless I suspect the receiver will also be awake and drawing current.
