I installed a set of Drag Specialties 4" pullback risers on my XL883 standard. Now I don't have to reach so far for the bars.
I relocated the front turn signals and mounted the speedo above the headlight because the wiring harness on those items would not reach with the risers. I also installed a braided front brake hose because the stock hose was about 2" too short.
The stock harness for the handlebar controls was long enough, so I didn't have to replace or lengthen any of the wiring.
looks great, where did you get the speedo bracket / mounting piece ?
Thanks for the comments. I made the mounts for the speedo out of 0.5" O.D. x .065" wall thickness 4130 steel pipe. The mount bolts for the headlight are almost the same width apart as the speedo mount. I just opened up the holes on the speedo to make them line up and used 3.5" long bolts, so the same bolts mount the speedo and the headlight.
By the way Killah_Steg, you have a sharp looking bike.
