I have used Mothers, Nano Polish from Eagle One, and Flitz. All seemed to work great. Then I noticed this dull spot on the Handelbar riser, thought it was a smashed bug or something. Polished it with Mothers, good I thought it is coming off. Steped back and took a look. S---! now i got this oval spot where the dull spot was with a yellow tint! Harley dealer says I rubbed off the chrome and exposed the nickel plating!?? Never heard of such b.s.! Anyhow they say the Mothers has fine abrasives in it which will do this Of course they only recommend the Harley products So from here on its Windex or Harley Glaze on my chrome. Anyone experience anything like this??
