Default Chrome Engine Kit P/N 16295-07A

Hey folks!

I'm considering dressing up my wife's 2012 883 Super Low with Harley's Chrome Engine Kit (P/N 16295-07A). Is anyone familiar with it? What is and isn't included? All the hardware? The photograph on line doesn't show the timer cover or the transmission sprocket cover. Do they need to be purchased separately?

Thanks in advance!

I didn't find the instructions for the part number in the HD SIP (Service Information Portal)

The Parts and Accessory catalog listing has this in the description:
Kit includes chrome gear cover, transmission sprocket cover, primary chain inspection cover, derby cover, inner and outer rocker covers and all gaskets.

Here is what comes in the box per the H-D site ...

I have a similar kit for my RK. The chrome engine fasteners (bolts) do not come with the kit and have to be purchased separately, if you want those. You use the existing fasteners, but kind of silly not to get the chrome stuff with all that bling if you ask me. My King has them for the primary, transmission, cam, lifters/tappets. You could also get the rocker bolt cover kit, as well as the headbolt bridge to cover the spark plugs. This stuff gets expensive, but then she's worth it, isn't she?

Looks like the primary cover hardware kit is the best to go for as you then get the derby cover and timing chain inspection screws as well.

I bought mine from a 3rd party (can't remember who) in polished stainless steel... I would recommend that over rusting chrome any day.

WOW, that's a ton of cash, almost $1,000. You could do much better aftermarket.
