It doesn't seem like it unless HD plans on selling a whole different rear fender and seat combo. Granted Sportys aren't the best option for 2 up but plenty of couples ride together and it seems like HD is limiting themselves to fewer accessories.

Yes the sundowner seat helps but remember the sporster 1200 was hd answer to the yamaha virgo 1100 back in 1986 (if i remember the year right) and it was the largest factory motor at the time in the 70's lot were riding 2 up on less powerful choppers in the 80's on smaller jap bikes and in the 90's alot were doing 2 up on sport bikes.
