Still the **** dont sit well with me.
Been thinking of putting a Buell or Ducati 996 tailpiece on.

Any pics from the rear? Is the wheel offset to the left side of the bike? A fender to clean things up is my suggestion. Right now the yuge wheel/tire combo looks out of place on a stock bike.
Has the bike been down the road as is? Or does it need finished up?
Any name brand x or o ring chain will work just fine. I definitely wouldn’t recommend a 630.

My Benelli 900 Sei had a duplex chain as stock fitment, I thought it was a bit "overkill" for a machine producing 80 hp, so I changed the chain and sprockets for 530 simplex items.
As far as I'm aware the Benelli 900 Sei was the only production motorcycle with a duplex final drive chain as stock fitment.
