Since the stock Halogen headlight on my '22 883 is less than desirable, I purchased a budget LED headlight from Sunpie. Is there a trick to getting the headlight back in? the heat sinks on the back of the light are preventing me from seating it properly in the bucket because the wiring harness gets in the way. If there's already a thread with a solution, could someone point me in the right direction? Don't want to clutter the board with repeat topics if possible.
Yes, I know Sunpie's so-so reputation, so please hold off the "cheap Chinese knockoff" and "ya get what ya pay for" comments. I'm just trying to work with what I have.
It seems then that the bucket on these bikes is slightly different as many have fitted all manner of 3rd party ones without issue.
Are you able to get the connector in a different position to the top or bottom where I think there should be some space.
For the record I have fitted HD daymakers to a 2017 XL1200T and 2008 Custom and although the buckets were slightly different the fitting went without any problems. Both have the H4 connector.
When I put a Sunpie in my 2003 Sportster, I had to work at getting the wires routed around the heat sink in the back. Takes a little moving around to get the wiring harness to cooperate. Your 2022 may have more wires in there than mine does though.

I tried, but it wasalso beginning to get a bit dark at the time I was changing my light out. I'll give it a go this weekend.
