Carb question.
My 98 1200c carb is leaking fuel out of the top of the accelerator pump under throttle. It definately sound's and act's like it's running for crap when cold unless under full choke. Seem's to run ok when fully warmed up. Can anyone help? Also noticed that there is a slide in the front of air horn, is this suppossed to move with the choke **** or is this vacumn operated? Thank's guy's for any help. As you can tell I am new to owning a Harley.

A leaking accelerator pump is usuallyone reason for poor idling.
Anyway,Iagree with Zimbob, you should probablydo an overhaul
for the carburetor (change gaskets etc.) Regarding the enrichener,all
Sportiesrequire full "choke" (unless it has gotfuel injection)when the engine is cold.
