Anyone use Hawg Halter products? I finished my front end and the paint is peeling off my front brake master cylinder. This is the second one that has had the paint bubble up like this so I am going to go with anodized billet to go with the 2fngr clutch perch. Hawg halters master cylinder looks like the best match to the 2fngr. And it will look nicer with the smaller master cylinder I think. I can't find many reviews on any of hawg halters products though which is unusual.

Since you live in San Clemente, it's probably the sea air that causes the paint on your M/C to bubble. Mine has the same problem down south of you in Carlsbad. Salt seems to penetrate any microscopic holes and corrodes the pot metal underneath. My camcase is heavily spiderwebbed after 33 years on the beach.

This is probably a big part of it. I tried to paint the oem one after the paint started chipping off, but folks aren't kidding when they say aluminium is hard to paint. I could never get it to stick very well.
I was able to find a 15 year old thread talking about Hawg Halters master cylinder and no one was complaining.
Well got the master cylinger yesterday and installed it. What a PITA. It is a bit longer than stock and on 24" bars that made for a challenge so I opted to make a 3/8" spacer between the bar end mirror and the bar under the throttle. Worked out pretty well but for some reason bleeding was tough. I was using a vacuum pump but really I think you have to just do it the old fashion way in order to get all the air out of the master cylinder. Seems ok now.
