lowering the rear
When I bought my Sportster it already had Progressive shocks installed. My question is---can you install lowering blocks like these http://www.adamsbikeroutlet.com/esho...M_KIT_FOR_.htm in addition to the lowered shocks. The wires under the fender would probably need to be rerouted. What are your thoughts on this and have you done it? Thanks

My buddy got those lowering blocks, it sits another 1 inch lower. If you don't worry about scraping the bottom, go ahead. We ride together all the time and he seems to hit the ground more than I do. You also have to reroute the rear light wiring harness. Alex

I am planning on chopping the rear fender and going with a side mounted plate. I just want the fender to be close to the tire. I don't like the look of a big gap between the tire and fender.
