I've thought tilting the footpegs up slightly to fight the tendency of your foot sliding off. Anybody tried tit?

'Feeler pegs'? I removed 'em! I'd only keep them on if they emitted a nice stream of sparks when they dragged on the pavement.

Yes! I fabricated thin metal shims and wedged them between the peg and the bracket. It lifted the "hanging" front pegs and did a great job of preventing my feet from sliding off. I also extended the gear shifter because it is so short.... I made a aluminum spacer on the lathe, cut the retaining bolt in two, welded a 33mmX10mm metal rod in between and now it feels much better!

I tried buying fwd controls for the 2020 (MY18) Sportster 1200 Custom. None used available! None new available at dealers nationally.... Dealer ordered - has to come from the UK. Day later came back saying none available. Said they will have to try the USA... If anyone near a Harley dealer can find out if there is stock available, I'd be very thankful to hear from you. Regards!

I haven't tried that. I did put some traction tape on them to stop the sliding tendency. It helped a little but wore through pretty quickly.
