I tried the Sundowner and found it to push me forward especially when braking. I have a 07 1200L, so the controls are mid level.I am thinking about either the Corbin Gunfighter and lady or the Mustang daytripper. Both seem like good seats but I would like to hear from anyone who has a 1200L with either of these seats. I'm glad the dealer took the Sundownerback because it just did'nt work for me.
Mustang is a very comfortable seat it will lift you up a little off the road Maybe 1"? Corbin is another comfortable seat, maybe not quite as the mustang but close. The Corbin will sit you back a little bit further. my stang is a vintage 2 up and the corbin is a gunfighter. No other seats are even close to these 2 in comfort, and Ive had a lot of different types.

I have the mustand vintage on a 2007 low. Mines came with the bike when I bought it and is the 2 piece set up. I can not compare to the corbins but I can tell you I have 0 complaints on the mustang. I also think the mustang vintage looks sweet on this bike, like the mustang logo on the tip too.
Anyone using the Corbins tried out the HD Brawler solo? As predicted, my wife (5'1") really dislikes the stock seat on her new 07 883L and so far, I haven't been able to find anyone that stocks the Corbin (or Mustang) in the Seattle area for her to try out. The leather Brawler felt much better to her, but I'd like her to try some others, as well.
I have a Corbin Hollywood Solo, and I really like it. I also have the Sundowner for 2 up riding, I don't care for it much at all.
You do sit back farther on the Corbin. It is a much firmer seat, not puffy and fluffy like a couch. I never feel any pressure point on my rear while ridding with it. Any new bike I ever get, it too will get a Corbin.
I've never tried the Mustangs so this is really one sided.
I have tried the mustang daytripper, and I found it to be 10x worse than the stock seat. It is like sitting on a wood bench. The seat has strange angles too, the little hump in the back is very uncomfortable. I put the stock seat back on, and sold that POS on e-bay. I haven't tried any other mustangs, wich may be fine, but this one is horrible.
