Well wholesale value being nothing, it would be toast at 5gs.

i think a tank runs about 6 bills plus all the other all around damage done like both fenders rear wheel the rear fender frame, front fork parts etc . i was just wondering i figure it will probably be cheaper for them to total it and auction it off? seems like it would be cheaper 4 them

If the frame is bent, they will total it. I would guestimate that they would probably also total it if all the sheet metal is damaged, as well as the chrome/covers. All that stuff adds up quick, plus the labor to totally rebuild the bike. Remember that if it has so much as a scratch, it needs to be replaced to get you back to whole, and in a boo-boo, a lot of stuff gets scratched.

When my nighty got hit the damage was around 4000. That just for a tank, bars, front and rear fender, left side controls, speedo, and license plate holder and labor. So I'm guessing you might have more damage than that so you might be looking at a total.

If it's down to frame damage, likely a total...lots of other things get munched in between. The labor eats it up.
