Vibration on my belt.
You all have a point here. But - I am adult enough. All I asked was an earplug model, not how to live my life. I am not suicidal, so please do not tell me what to do and I will not tell you where to go. Besides, that thing has a gps integrated and I'd like to hear voice prompts as I ride a lot countryside.
Thanks,
Elena

I think the point people are trying to make here is ... Simply put ... It's a distraction. Accidents happen ... that's why they call them ACCIDENTS! And don't forget, YOU are not the only one in danger when you are distracted on the hwy. You can still do some serious damage tothe occupants of another vehicle or a pedestrian if you are not watching what you are doing and are 100% alert. THAT is a chance we all take...Not only with a cell phone but even with the GPS.
Admittedly theaudio is less distracting that the visual screen (where you actually have to take youreyes off the road tosearch out where you are and where you need to go on a tiny screen)....but none the less is still distracting too.On a bike, where onlyseconds count ... it may be enough to hurt not onlyyourself but someone else.
And just for the record ... I want a GPS for my bike, too. And I will probably getthe ear plug too....And I understand the dangers ofdoing so. I'm just saying ... all these contraptions that are worth having come with a word of warning.
