Cam question
Good morning everybody, i had a small oil leak from the cam cover, yesterday i took it apart to change the seal and one of the cam gears fell off de crankcase, not big deal, look at all of the gears and they look in almost new condition but the cam gears have some numbers, Clymer manual says they should have printed numbers like 1D or 1W depending on the cambut my gears have this numbers, Intake from cyl. 2 with big numbers 25-2 and with small numbers 36926 and the exhaust cam with big numbers 25-1 and with small numbers 36930.
Does anyone knows what this numbers mean ?? thanks a lot for your time....

I think they had different numbering for the cam's that year, I know one line of SE cams were numbered 31-3S to 34-3S So don't worry as long as you get it in the right spot. My bike is a 94 and had the 1D to 4D numbering. Anyhow when you put it in, make sure all the dimple marks on the cams line up, and your set.
