Not sure if you guys/gals that have the PCIII have noticed that in the MAP descriptions the aircleaner is identified as the screamin eagle a/c...and I asked Jamie at Fuelmoto and he said that it was the Stage 1 aircleaner.
So, since I'm running the heavy breather should the settings be different? The heavy breather flows better than the stage 1 a/c, by how much I do not know. I'm asking this because I'm having to bump the fuel%'s up quite a bit from the "canned" MAPS to make the bike run properly (better) For instance, I have increased the fuel by 20% in the lower ranges to help out with a lean condition.
Even with my shortshots Jamie increased the entire MAP by 10% to get it running better
I wanted to post this for the people who have other A/C's besides the Stage 1
Does anybody know the % of flow increase between the Stage 1 filter and Heavy Breather?
I'm having same issue with my big sucker, PCIII and hookers......Pulls really hard, but has decel popping.......My stealer has a dynojet dyno and has tons of experience with power commanders.....he assured me yesterday he would dyno it remap ignoring all EPA regs because we here aren't subjected to enforcement like many places yet.....once I get the dyno done I can email the map to those who wanna try it.
I got the RKC in the shop at the moment getting it tweeked, so I'll budget the Sporty for mid Feb.
Not sure if you want to mess with it or not, but with my pipes since they flow so well, you actually have to decrease the fuel at the zero throttle position, for instance my setting at the zero throttle position from 1500 to 5000rpms is -60 or a 60% decrease in fuel and I have absolutley no decel popping
Now with the Shortshots I had to increase thefuel at the zero throttle position to +10 to eliminate thedecel popping
I'm also thinking about a dyno run/custom map, $200 for a custom map isn't too bad
