Nice to have the power when you need it. The sporty has plenty. Dallas you are right, I have seen some time slips, i think on here with the High 11 or low 12 sec. times.
well ric27 my boyfriends Tri Daytona 675 will leave my sportster in a cloud of exhaust fumes. I read in wheel tuner magazine Richard gadson ripped off a 9.2 second quarter mile on a bone stock Busa2. Now thats acceleration!!
I think thats what xxx means. it is slow by sportbike standards. But thats ok with me. if i wanted a sportbike i wouldhave gotten one
I understand that but what does a Tri Daytona weight? I would imagine a Busa2 is a highly race tuned light weight as well. The standard is like a Corvette vs a mustang GT. Not really the same class. I know that wasn't xxx's point but the only standard I have to go by is it is hard to hold on to he grips when I crank the throttle past 2/3s. So I guess it is slow compared to Crotch Rocket but I don't think there are many 550lb bikes that could beat a 1200 sportster. Or even look cool tryin'.
That's quicker than the majority of cars and trucks you see out on the highway, and plenty of power to get out of the way of many 'problems' before they happen.
Yeah, but the problem is so many riders are afraid to use the throttle to get away from danger IMHO.
Not me I some times do a Fred Flintstone movement with my feet with my Heritage to push it faster going around cars. I am always like come on Jezzibell (bikes name because it continues to F me at the wrong time the B) get your Hoe butt humping girl.
883 sporty and 1200 are more fun than almost anything than sex when curves come to mind. With some parters I have had I would have picked the 883 and 1200 instead of them. Those883 and 1200 will at least move out fast and shake a little when you stop.
