I'm looking for a windshield for my '06 sport. I don't want a big one, just something small and "sporty". I realize that I won't have the advantage of large screen protection, but I don't like the look of the big guys. Any suggestions?
Thanks...
You get used to looking at it. I had mine off the other day to detil behind it and the bike looked strange without it. If you're going to get one that's way short you might as well leave it off and go without because it won't do you any good.
I have the same one as above, and it works for me. I take mine off in town and when I just feel like not having one, but on the Highway, and long trips it works wonders.
I'm not a fan of windshield buts if you are going to invest in one, you should get one that will stop wind and fatigue. A little one will help but only a little and like stated above you get used to the look and don't like them without a shield.
I still haven't decided but thanks for all the input. I like the idea off taking it off around town and putting on for long rides.
I understand the concept of being able to see above it in case of rain. Thanks again.
What height do you guts recommend above the headlite bucket? I know it depends on how tall you are but dont like the looks of a tall windshield on the Sporty. Would 14-16 inches be enough for someone 5'10.
